Boosting Production at Kian Looka Makian Complex: From Chick Production to Market Supply
The first production batch of ostrich chicks began in February 2024 at the kian Luka Makian Ostrich Breeding Complex.
The initial phase of ostrich chick production at the "Kian Luka Makian" ostrich farming complex began in Bahman 1402 (January/February 2024) using the complex's own breeder eggs—a successful and valuable milestone in its inaugural step.
Currently, the Kian Luka Makian industrial complex has established a complete production chain, encompassing all stages of rearing from chick and fattening phases to breeder management. Continuing this trajectory of growth, the complex launched ostrich chick production for the third consecutive year in Bahman 1404 (January/February 2026) and successfully distributed a portion of the output to meet consumer market demand.
